New You in 2013

Church this morning was all about the NEW for 2013.  New Joy, new Life new You. . . I loved the lessons that I learned in 2012. . I wouldn't change a thing, hard lessons, but lessons I needed to learn.  Everything about 2012 is done and completely over. I am glad of that. The New Me (once the clearing out and cleaning of my house) is about to emerge, Free as a Butterfly.

The dance of 2013 was performed by Aminta this morning.  God is good and His Blessing rains down upon us.  She is in perpetual movement, some of the pictures may be a bit blurry.

Have a safe and Happy New Year.
Many Blessings,
Janet

Merry Christmas

Debra, my daughter, and I

Kayla, Stephanie, Debra, Amanda, Meaghan

and Me

Andrew and Tambra
I was a Blessed Christmas Day.  The food was good, the company was terrific, and the day turned out excellent.
God be with you and yours.   I am so thankful for the family I have.  Christopher is stationed in New Mexico and couldn't be with us this Christmas. He used up his time when his father passed last September.  Mom (Debra) needed him then.

Love and Blessings,
Janet

Becky's Party

A good time was had by all.

I am dressed with the Red sweater.  Yep, had to go out and find something red for all the Christmas parties. I am clearing out most of my house and I had given away most of my clothes. I hate shopping, but fortunately one of the grocery places (Target) had them on sale.  My beautiful daughter is standing beside me, long blonde hair and dressed in black (with lacy socks and bows).  Becky has the green sweater with Christmas Tree on the front.  She is so Special, she has become part of our family. Sometimes you can pick your family.  I am so Blessed with all my friends that have become family over the years now that most of my family has passed on.

Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Many Blessings,
Janet

Quilting Bee Girls Night Out Plus One

When the ladies get together there is a lot of talking. . . Vito, Marge, Dodie, Katy, Christina, Waynette and Janet

And listening closely are Waynette and Janet

Did you find the Plus One?  He is at the other end of the table.

When we take quilt bus trips, Dodie is one of the people who helps Katy coordinate.

Here is the Master behind all the quilt trips. She makes it look easy. She keeps us busy but not out of trouble once we get near a quilt store, it's total Bliss.

Our quilt Bee party was a success. We were homeward bound around 11:00 p.m. It was fun and the Plus One (Vito) help make the party quite a party.

I happen to be on someone else's camera. So you won't see me in these pictures.

Blessings,
Janet

Red Sky in the Morning

Red sky at night
Sailor's Delight

Red Sky in the Morning
Sailor's Warning

We received that warning last night that today would be rainy, stormy and a cool front would be moving in.  The sky this morning shows that very clearly.

God painted the sky so pretty, but it is a warning for today.  I love seeing nature in all her glory.

Blessings,
Janet
