New Horizon Worship Center Church

"This is the Day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!" Ps. 118:24.

The Teens took over the worship service today.
They had us laughing in the aisles.
They were so amazing, my friend is coming back next Sunday and bringing her friend.
New Members day, there were 7 of us. . . (I was one of them).. . the elders are lined up to welcome us into membership.
Another part of the musical service.
Announcements and talk of luncheon after service in Fellowship Hall.

Have a great Sunday.
Blessings,
Janet

Ducklings

Waiting for his ladies to show up. I didn't see them.

TWO adorable ducklings, they are certainly great looking teenagers by now.

Lots of errands today.  We had a terrible storm that lasted forever last night. Today it wasn't that bad nor was it that long.
Blessings,
Janet

Sunset and ducks

Sunset last night was so beautiful.
Only duck I saw in the community this morning. Probably waiting for his ladies.
This one was across the street at the bridge. . . another was just beyond her.
We do remember this is the little bird that picks on everyone, saw him again at the canal.

Patiently waiting for his friends to eventually cross the road.

It is a beautiful morning for walking in the neighborhood.  It is wonderful to see the same walkers and then become friends.
Blessings,
Janet

Be grateful for your Friends.. new friends and old friends.

Clouds

Oh-Oh, Thunderheads. . .we do know what's ahead for the day. . .

I did not go all the way down to the bridge, I did not want the ducks to cross the busy street.
On the way back home, poor sun was trying. . . but unfortunately, we saw very little sun today.

Blessings,
Janet
Stop breathing life into the past, it died for a reason. Let go and move on.

Morikami Gardens

The Morikami Japanese Museum and Gardens are amazing. The beauty, tranquility, and ambiance is worth a visit.
Picture postcard photo I took today.
. . . . and another.
Look what I found staring up and me. . . and then
he turned so I could get a better shot, even my girlfriend noticed that.
I have learned from experience, ducks love to have their picture taken. They 'know' me.
Blessings,
Janet

Do more of what makes you awesome.

Rainbows God's Promise

Rainbows are God's Promise .

Look what I saw in the community this morning. . . someone has company.

We are pretending not to notice. . .we are drinking and preening.

While I'm waiting for you to follow, I'll just preen a few feather too..  ... for my close ups.

Rain last night, guess it's always thereabouts.

Look who was waiting at the bridge.

OK, OK, have to go to the store and get the duck food.

The moon is not as big, but it sure is bright.

The Rainbow. . . .beginning to fade, but it's there and it's a reminder.
"I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth." Genesis 9:13

Janet

Good Morning Super Moon, ducks and Squirrels

He was posing. . . he ran up the tree and looked back at me.
Super moon is out big and bright this morning.
All the ducks are lined up!
What a beautiful start to a wonderful Tuesday.
Blessings,
Janet
Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ”Holy crap. . . What a Ride!”

Good Morning Super moon . . . . and Birds and Ducks

This looks like an egret of a different color. He decided to pose for my first thing this morning.
Super Moon is still going strong.
Noooooo wait. . . .I had to slow down a few cars.
Finally got across, whew. . . it is pretty active at 7-7:30 a.m.
I only saw him and her this morning in the community.
The HEAT basketball team are on TV with their parade. So much fun.
Blessings,
Janet

The presence of God watches over me. Wherever I am, God is.  He said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Exodus 33:14

Super Moon

Super moon. . . extra bright and big last night.

There was also a cross in the sky. . .probably made by air streams.

The moon was so bright, it was difficult to see them, but this pic shows them better.
Unfortunately, the closest the moon is today 7:30 a.m. Eastern, there are too many clouds and I am not sure exactly what position it is in. Therefore, theses pictures are from last night.
Blessings,
Janet

Hen Bird

I am sure you remember this one. . . picked on everyone. . . .
Hen Bird. . . it appears as though he has a friend following him around.
Perhaps he won't be so grumpy!!
Saw me from a block away and started toward me. . .
uh oh, haven't been to the pet store to get duck food. . . .
Someone else was patiently waiting on the other side.
I have to go to my favorite store today. . . Home Depot. At least I won't have a 'melt-down' there. I cannot shop but this place has what you need and people to help you find it and they are always, always pleasant.
Blessings,
Janet

I am not a perfect person. I make a lot of mistakes. But still, I love those who accept me as I am.

Blue Heron

Beautiful Blue Heron
 . . . and shadow
Ducks are going north on the canal.
Community Duck. . . . only one today. Earlier as I was walking this way one flew overhead north.
Whoops, you need to prune your feather fella.
On my 2.5 mile walk I meet a lot of people. Today I met Julie and her pups Lucky. As we talked, we both became aware that we could help each other. God was in our meeting. . . we saw His light in each other. We prayed for our dear Sister who is undergoing surgery this morning.  What a wondrous occasion. . . stay alert, an angel is always around. . . help is on the way.
Blessings,
Janet
