Crossing the road. . . Ducks

Beautiful flowering bushes. . . every morning there is something
beautiful to see.

Whoops, careful. . .the car did stop, after all there were 3 of the teenagers.
They look like the other side of the bridge ducklings.
Whoops, here comes another one. . . .
He's a big guy. . . no messing with him, that might do damage to a small car!!!

Cannot forget the turtles, there are many early in the morning ready for breakfast.
I know the parakeet is missing. . . this one sounds like him, however,
he doesn't look like one.

And now for our community duck, getting ready to get on the car stop?
Where is the fella. . . .?
Today was the warmest day at the earliest hour.  It is 84 with a feels like of 90.  Very warm and humid. . . . tough to walk too fast.
Blessings,
Janet

Red sky in the morning, Sailor's warning. . . .

Beautiful sky 6:30 a.m. this morning. . . but. . . . .
Later in the morning, I reached the bridge/canal.
Ducks and egret patiently wait for breakfast. . . .
Whew, ducklings (teenagers) just made it across. . . .some cars tend to go faster than others
perhaps not realizing there may be ducks crossing the road. . . .
The Line Up. . . .for breakfast.
There are more ducks across the street.
She is the beautiful duck whose feathers look so soft.
Apparently, there is a gander interested,
she has a red mark on the back of her head. . . .possible courtship!!
Blessings,
Janet

Clouds, Ducks, Turtles and Snake

After my walk here's the two Ducks in my community.
And on the way home I saw a dead snake (small one)
Red on Black, safe for Jack.
Therefore, it's not the poisonous coral snake
(red on yellow, kill a fellow).
OMGosh look how the ducklings have grown. . .
Mama did a great job.
Here's mama with the babies.
Meanwhile back at the canal, breakfast is being served.

Turtles don't miss out on breakfast either.
I started out this morning at 6:17 a.m. street lights were still on
and it looks like a storm is coming.
As I walked, it began to get lighter. . . albeit I did hear thunder in the distance.
It's lighter still (sky) but there was lightening inside the big clouds.
. . .fortunately it stayed away, even though I walked at least 1/2 mile further this morning.
Birds and Clouds (the moon was straight up directly over my head). I always look up now since I noticed the rainbow accidentally  directly overhead.
Blessings,
Janet

At the bridge today, there were 4 ducks. . . waiting for food.

 Standing so majestic.
OK, ladies and gentlemen. . . line up. . . .Breakfast is coming. . .
Back at the community, she hopped up on the car stop again and is cleaning while he watches.

Janet

Ducks. . .Story of the Dragonfly

Last night coming out from a gathering at the club house. . .
I saw a duck walking fast, just before turning the corner, I was able to snap her pic.
This morning as I came up to the cross street, there he is. . .
 Follow me. .  . . .
And there she is sitting on the car stop. . .cleaning.
She is often seen sitting on a car stop. . . .Only his Gal!
Here I am at the bridge. . .
Lots of turtles and fish. . . .
And look who is waiting patiently for Breakfast.
It is so much darker in the morning now then at night (see first pic after 8 p.m.)
which is about 6:45 a.m.
For a couple of months I have noticed at least one sometimes two tiny dragonflies.  I do a lot of talking to God on my walks. I usually walk about 2.5 miles and it takes about 50 minutes. I have come to see these pretty little creatures as angels.  The come around and I smile. . . they sometimes direct my attention to something I need to see (when I don't know I need to see it).  I have an email subscription to TUT.com and every weekday I receive a message.  Today's message is:

Those little things that you alone see, Janet, aren't by chance.
The sign, the squirrel, the dragonfly; the whisper, the song, the lily.
It's me. I'm always with you. I'll do anything to reach you -- to give you hope, keep you on track, answer your questions.
Look even closer.

God puts in front of you whatever you need, all you have to do is stop, look and listen. He's always there.
Blessings,
Janet

Pre-Butterfly - Caterpillar, ducks and Moon

Beautiful Caterpillar rolling along on the sidewalk. The trees dripping
on the sidewalk have stained it.
Mama and babies are across the street this morning.
Ducks are patiently waiting for their breakfast.
The Moon . . . and. . . (notice early morning and street light is still on).
This is what you probably didn't see. . . .The Egret.
 Mighty thirsty this morning.
Blessings,
Janet
