Clouds and . . .

Yesterday there were dark clouds about in the northwest.
Clouds and blue sky in the northeast.
I have been unable to walk because I have twisted my knee. Therefore, I step outside to bring the clouds, weather and whatever I can find to show you.  Not sure when it will be healed.

We were to draw ourselves for the Paint Party Friday last week.  I tried to but am unable to draw upon command something so intricate as a face. I've drawn many faces over the years, but cannot do it on a week's notice.  This is what I put up on my art blog:

It is true to my image.  Enjoy the art from PPF and from my ART blog.
Blessings,
Janet
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

. . .however. . .with a few strong gusts of wind recently. .
. . my backyard appears like fall?

Janet

Mystery Writers/FL Meeting. . . Clouds

Our speaker was Joanna Campbell Slan. Dynamite Speaker and Subject.
Her books are many and varied.
She is a creator of how to Journal books and writer. *Book Review
 We had a full house.
Most are mystery writers, some thriller writers and some of us are young adult writers.

Clouds . . no rain, just very hot temps.
Good shade tree.
* Book Review by me:  TEAR DOWN AND DIE  by Joanna Campbell Slan
This is a fun read. Ms. Campbell-Slan put together the most incredible friendships and relationships. These friendships give new meaning to ways of looking at people.  Included are many different types of characters with differing experiences which allow coming together into friendship an incredible and interesting journey here.  The solution to a murder and the stolen art is complex and unique. I thought I solved the crime a couple of times, nope. The story will certainly keep you turning the pages until finally the crime is solved.  However, there is still a relationship that needs to be revealed in an upcoming book.  (A Cara Mia Dallgoto Mystery Series)

One of the Happiest Moments ever, is when you find the courage to Let Go of what you can’t Change.

Lots of clouds and 90 degrees Friday

Yesterday it was quite cloudy and 90 degrees.
Happy Spring!!!!
On one of my walks, I pick up a leaf for my Journal.
I picked up a piece of the cactus that had fallen off.. .. still fresh.
Hoping it will grow roots so that I can plant.
