Sunrise, Flowers, and Heron

Sunrise
Before I could take 10 steps, it changed.
Limpkin* that is hurt, there is one leg he can hardly walk on.
Our bushes have gotten more colorful and fuller.
Close up.

One of the condo's has a blow-up Easter Bunny!
At the end of my walk, another Sunrise pic.
No ducks at all this morning!!!
*The Limpkin, Aramus guarauna, is a bird that looks like a large rail but is skeletally closer to cranes. It is the only extant species in the genus Aramus and the family Aramidae. Wikipedia
Camera battery is dying and the battery has been discontinued, so we'll see how that goes!

Sun shower gets you just as wet!!!

Very mixed, not sure what she's doing, but covers aren't coming off. . .
Black bird decided to sit down beside me again today.
I didn't notice before, but that is one contented bird
. . .sitting on one leg.
Only one duck (Ibis and brown birds). . .
. . .at the Duck Breakfast Club today.
South duck is way south and decided not to join us.
Canal.. . .bird is caught flying across.
Sun is trying to shake those covers off.  .  maybe later.
Blackbird on a palm and clouds behind.
I guess it's time to go, where I am there are dark heavy clouds overhead.
The sun glints off a couple of clouds.
Shower wins out, albeit she's still 'shining.'
Blessings,
Janet

Sunshine and Clouds, Ducks and Anhinga, Black bird and Ibis . . cool and windy

Sunshine but not warm!
Where is that music coming from. . . .Chimes on the tree.
Pretty patio and yard at this corner condo.
3 Ducks and an Anhinga in the background.
OK, she's swimming right by. . .
 . . .ah. . .here's 2 very hungry ducks.
Here they come.
The (Anhinga) Double crested Comorant is still in the background.
(Brewers?) Blackbird (Boat-Tailed Grackle) . . are you going to save me some?
Two people have notified me of this bird with different names.
And I thank you for the help.
 Ibis, what about me?
Don't think so. . .Duck Breakfast Club is hungry this morning.
Clouds in the west. . .
 . . . . beautiful.
Blessings,
Janet

Sunshine, Clouds, Tennis, Duck Breakfast Club ~ North and South

The Sun kicked her covers off before I did, but not so much.
It is not a warm sun in So. FL
I am an hour and a half later. . . waiting for it to warm up, a little.
No chance of that. . .Around the corner comes one duck. . . .
 . . .then another so I feed them AND. . .
 .. .. the third duck pulls up . . . .with a hurt feather.
To the Duck Breakfast Club.
Wait. . . a brown duck must have crossed the street
And is chasing the other 3 away.
They are going away. . . .
Wait, another duck crossed the street.
There were 5 ducks at the Club this morning.
I look up above me and see the Sea Gull on the Lamp Post.
 Wispy western clouds
And the sun is a bit higher, but not brighter!!!
Wait What? Tennis players this morning!
Blessings,
Janet

Janet
