Out and about in the rain and Life Journal sucess

This morning. . .clouds and a 'bit' of rain.
OK, that piece of blue sky is a teaser. . .it ended up raining ALL day.
I pick up the Life Documented Journal at the store.
This will be the 2015. . .I didn't do all 52 weeks of 2014.
It is a fun project. I learned a lot, made many friends and found
a wonderful group of supportive people. My ART has become better too.
I also picked up a Palette that will keep the acrylics damp. It's small enough to take with.
“Judge people by their hearts and character, not by the meaningless externals of life”

Library, Bank, Starbucks and. . . .

Lots of Clouds and Contrails . . . Library
 Home. . .
 . . .more contrails.
Contrails (/ˈkɒntreɪlz/; short for "condensation trails") or vapor trails are long, thin artificial (man-made) clouds that sometimes form behind aircraft.

Disappointment. . .another store (Dollar Store) went out. Not much at this Plaza anymore. Tuesday Morning has been gone at least a year.   I talked with a couple (here for the winter and told them of another plaza to shop their dollar store).  We all expect things to be there when we need them. I was in the area, so thought I would stop in.
Don’t take life so seriously, it’s not like you’re going to get out alive!

Shopping Day and Lunch Monday as told through Clouds and Strangers in the Line

The Royal Palm Beach shopping center is in the PBI flight path.
Close up of the plane in the above pic. Burlington Coat Factory.
Lots of clouds today. . .Stein Mart next shopping center down.
 Dress Barn. . .darker clouds.
Home Goods.
 Panera for Lunch.
Dress and Leggings (not the top).  Skirt.
Blouse, Ruffly Skirt.. .. good dress-up outfit.
Fresh Market in Wellington. . .Food for New Years Day.
Don't forget the Black-eyed Peas for good luck.
The quote for the day describes my day. I met a beautiful older woman in Home Goods. She is from Ireland originally, but moved here in 1950s.  We talked about Paying it Forward. She told me about how kind people (all over the world) had been to her. I am so glad we shared our stories with each other. Sometimes standing in a long line is a Blessing.
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. ~ Jane Goodall

Clouds and a bit of Sun

Clouds early. . .I expect Sunshine today!

What if it was never about finding a happy ending? But about finding a harmony with every chapter and realizing that life doesn’t end but is just in constant and meaningful change. ~ S.C. Lourie

Weekly Wisdom column by Nancy Norman, Unity of Delray Beach

"I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight..." (Isaiah 45:2)

"Life is hard by the yard, a cinch by the inch." (Anonymous)

Just for today: I will live through this day only.  I will not brood about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow.  I will not set far-reaching goals or try to overcome all of my problems at once.  Just for today: I will be happy.  I will not dwell on thoughts that depress me. If my mind fills with clouds, I will chase them away and fill it with sunshine.  Just for today: I will accept what is. I will face reality. I will correct those things that I can correct and accept those I cannot.  Just for today: I will improve my mind. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration. I will not be a mental loafer.  Just for today: I will make a conscious effort to be agreeable, I will be kind and courteous to those who cross my path, and I'll not speak ill of others. I will improve my appearance, speak softly, and not interrupt when someone else is talking.  Just for today: I will refrain from improving anybody but myself.  Just for today: I will do something positive to improve my health. If I'm a smoker, I'll quit. If I am overweight, I will eat healthfully - if only just for today.  And not only that, I will get off the couch and take a brisk walk, even if it's only around the block.  Just for today: I will gather the courage to do what is right and take responsibility for my own actions. ~
Pauline Phillips, of "Dear Abby" fame, made some New Year's resolutions.

I borrowed from the above mentioned. I thought the column was quite appropriate for the upcoming new year.

We learn something through everyone that passes through our lives. Some lessons are painful. Some lessons are painless and some lessons are priceless.
