After the storm

Andrea did her thing in this area yesterday. 

 Today the sun shines finally . . . .

 However, she isn't done yet. . . .

The ducks at the Bridge.

These 3 are across the canal.

 One of the Community ducks, whoops, 2 of them. . .

He is always going in the other direction. . .toward the tennis court.

 There are at least 3 on the other side of the parking lot.

 #3 is resting. . . guess he's walked as far as he's going to. . .waiting for breakfast ? Perhaps!

 It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.

Andrea. . .No I'm not naming the ducks

We had the first 'wave' (feeder band) of Andrea and expect her tail later today.

Therefore, no walking today. . . .

 Guess my duck missed me and decided to clean just across my street.

Very sweet to think of me. . .

Mom's birthday today. . . She is missed.

Ducks, Canal lowered, Rain

In the community, three ducks are wandering.

 There he is. . .over by the tennis courts.

 Remember, the water is generally over the bottom of the pipe. . . .

 The canal has been drained quite a bit. . .in anticipation of a 'named' storm. . . .?

 Everyone appears to be cleaning . . . .

It will be interesting to see if I will be walking within the next couple of days. Lots of rain is expected.

New Windows - New Light

Rev. Nancy Norman preached this morning at Unity of Delray Beach

 The tree in the forefront is one that Steve and I had since 1989. Still going strong but not tall because I've kept her in a large flower pot.  The tree behind is a new planted palm in the middle of the yard and the flowering bush behind is at a TH further away.

 No more crank windows 1/2 of which didn't work.

 Curtains in the bedroom, albeit sheers.

Progress is being made and much of it will be completed during June.

Ducks and Squirrels

Community ducks are busy foraging in the north.

At the Club House. . . .

 Here is the duck that was walking with a limp, he's much better.

 The other 2 were cleaning in the puddles, when he saw me, he turned around and
hurried back to the the other 2 squalking a blue streak. . .

 Only 1 Duck at the Bridge - - - cleaning.

 Hello, look who's peeking around the corner. . . . .

 He finally decided the Other Tree would be safer.

Today I was able to walk the whole 2 miles . . . no rain threatened.  We may have broke a May rainfall record.
