Baby Shower, Ducks and Rain

I went to a baby shower and look what I found out the living room window.

 They came right over to where I was standing. . . 

I guess word is out about the Duck Breakfast Club, even that far away.

This is the beautiful lake where they swim.

 The moon was out in the afternoon.

 And it rained off and on all day.

Clouds, Ducks, Squirrel and rain!!

 I stepped outside and this is what I saw toward the East.  

Oh, this doesn't look good.

 The Ducks are waiting. . . only 3.

 The Duck Breakfast Club knows when I'm there.

 The 8 are there.  The Egrets do not eat the Duck Food.

 The Anhinga is back. The reflections are amazing.

As you can see, it is still cloudy.

 But in the West the clouds are parting. . .

 . . . and make for an interesting variation between east and, again, 

this is looking west.

 The rain caught up with me. It was only a drizzle/gentle type of rain, but wet none-the-less.

 Ok, Ok, Sun did NOT want to come out this morning!!!

 We are back up to 8 ducks in the Club.

Shopping and Baking

Today is cookie baking day.

Of course when I go to the store, I always forget something. . . .However, I did bake a batch of Milk Chocolate Chip cookies.

Rocket launch, Sunrise progression and Ducks

Last night a Rocket was Launched and I caught it.

 Just happened to look outside.

Can you live in FL and not know what this is. . . .

 There it is streaming across the sky.

I miss those space ship launches nowadays.

 First streak of light . . . those are dark clouds.

 Beginning to get lighter.

 I love to see the sunlight glimmer off the tops of the clouds

 . . .the sun is getting brighter.

 . . .and brighter. . .

Ducks, Clouds, and Squirrel

Looking west, there will be no sunrise while I walk.

Far too many clouds this morning.

 Two ducks across the street, only one walks across, the other flies.

. . .off to see the neighbor Squirrels across the street.

 Sort of Sunrise. . .glinting off the west clouds.

 Canadian neighbors know how to brighten up the place.

They also have Christmas lights up on bushes and around eaves.

Good Morning ~ home from SC

 Some of the trees still had their pretty leaves.

 Beautiful but cold.

Visiting family is the best, Always.  I sat on the couch by the window in front of the fireplace and along came a Cardinal looking in at me.  What a glorious place.
