Resurrection Sunday

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week,
he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat,
and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart,
because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,

On my walk to the Bridge, there are pretty purple flowering bushes,

No ducks at the Bridge this morning

 No ducks at the bridge this morning so I decided to tour the north side of community. 

 Yep, she didn't disappoint. Beautiful community and lovely duck.

She is sitting in the shade. Yesterday was 91 degrees. A bit hotter too much earlier than usual.

It will be 40s by Wednesday night.

Palm Sunday

The JOY Singers sang this morning.

We celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem the week before his death and resurrection.  Passion Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and concludes Easter Sunday. 

The Bible reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted him by waving palm branches and covering his path with palm branches and articles of their best clothing. Immediately following this great time of celebration in the ministry of Jesus, he begins his journey to the cross.
