Back from the Women's Religious Retreat

Five ladies from New Horizon Worship Center participated in the Women's Retreat in Orlando. Pastor Mathai drove us all up and attended parts of the retreat. . . Leaving a Legacy "Connecting the Generations!" Our leader Jeanne Rogers was fantastic.

Beautified for the Dinner

Baskets came from all of the churches represented. I bid on a Starbucks basket and won. The monies went to the Cambodia Kids 2013 which is our National Project.

Our special speaker of the evening and the next day was rev. Diana Adour. She was fantastic. She is a co-pastor with her husband Tim at the Church of Revelation in the Bronx.

Crowning Glory - Psalm 103:4 We all received sparkling tiaras (crowns) for the Lord.

The over 40 group stood up, there were many of us.  The under 40 group gathered around the stage. We  spoke words to each other regarding vital aspects to connecting with each other. One of the gals and I bonded (we will continue to stay in contact. . .I consider her a daughter in Christ).  So many people are hurting and reaching out and we must be ready/prepared to be the light that helps guide them to the Lord.
